The School of Behavioural, Cognitive and Social Sciences at UNE is seeking to appoint an academic staff member in the Linguistics discipline. Applicants must have a PhD in applied linguistics, general linguistics, or another relevant discipline, a demonstrated research profile or clear research potential relative to opportunity, demonstrated ability to teach and supervise in the general and applied linguistics program, and high-level communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in online or distance education would also be an advantage. Armidale is a unique country town located on the New England Tablelands. It is surrounded by world heritage national parks, and is only 2 hours from the mid north coast.
