The Graduate Institute of Linguistics at National Taiwan University invites applications for a faculty position at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) to begin in August 2013. Application for this position is open to scholars with a Ph.D. in linguistics, psychology or cognitive science with specialization in language, psychology or related fields. Candidates with a strong linguistically-related interdisciplinary background and research experience in first language acquisition, child language and/or language development will be given priority consideration. Candidates must also be willing to collaborate with others. Further qualifications include commitment to teaching. Responsibilities for the position include teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, thesis supervision, student advising, and committee services. The application package should include the following: (1) Three copies of CV, which should include a publication list of journal papers, book chapters, books, along with work experience, and the Ph.D. dissertation title (2) Three copies of Ph.D. diploma (3) Three copies of graduate transcripts (4) Evidence of work experience (if any) (5) Three letters of recommendation (6) Six copies of a) Representative works such as journal papers, book chapters, and books (including unpublished thesis) published after August 2008, and b) Additional supporting works published after August 2006.
