The Department of English at Bar Ilan University (http://english.biu.ac.il/), Israel, is planning to expand its Linguistics in Clinical Research graduate program. To this end, we are seeking to make an open rank appointment, subject to budgetary approval. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Linguistics with a specialization in discourse and/or psycholinguistics (including, but not limited to: child language acquisition and impairment, language and psychiatric disorders, bilingualism, etc.). Secondary specializations in sociolinguistics, diachronic linguistics, or computational linguistics would be an asset. Applicants should have evidence of an active research program and a record of effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The language of teaching in the department is English. Candidates are invited to submit a CV, an updated list of publications, a short letter summarizing his or her research activity and future research plans, and names of three references who are leading specialists in their areas of research.
