Job Description:		The University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, seeks candidates for the following tenure-track position in the Department of Foreign Languages: Assistant/Associate Professor of Italian (Applied Linguistics). Requirements: PhD in Italian, in the field of Linguistics, Phonetics and/or History of the language; native or near native fluency in Italian, working knowledge of Spanish or commitment to learn it; research in candidate's area of specialization and familiarity with recent developments in computer-assisted language teaching and learning; ability to teach another foreign language and teaching experience at the university level are highly recommended. Evaluation will start on April 30, 2013 and applications will be received until the position is filled.
