Job Description: The Interdisciplinary Linguistics program in the Department of Religion and Culture, College of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a term appointment at the rank of Instructor with specialization in General and/or Applied Linguistics. The term appointment will be made for the academic year 2013-2014, commencing July 1, 2013.

The successful candidate is expected to hold a PhD in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics or related area as well as to have experience in teaching Linguistics and ESL/EFL courses in university settings. Additional expertise in TESOL/TESL TEFL will be an asset. Candidates with a PhD close to completion will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a total of 18 cu (6 courses), 3 courses each term. The roster of courses may include all or some of the following 6 courses along with some other courses as needed by the program:
- 111 Language Structures
- 346 Language in Time and Space (Historical Linguistics)
- 110 English Grammar
- 345 Research
- 122 ESL Reading & Writing
- 402 Language and Culture
