The fee for posting a job announcement is $ 125 USD. A late fee of $ 30 USD will be applied if payment is not received within 90 days of submission. Submitting a job to the LINGUIST List is an easy four step process:
Once submitted, the job announcement is reviewed and approved by our editorial staff. This process may take up to 48 hours. Once approved, the announcement is automatically posted to the LINGUIST List.
Please note: If your job announcement concerns the availability of multiple positions of different ranks, each of these positions must be submitted as separate announcements. Multiple positions under the same job title may be submitted as a single announcement.

Before the announcement can be submitted the form has to be validated. The form checks whether all required fields are filled out. It checks whether the length of the job description is below the maximum character length for this field. Various other fields are checked for appropriate content (e.g. email address fields should contain valid email addresses). If there is some missing content in some field, the form will jump to this field and provide some explanation about the required information in the field.
Once the form is validated, the button "Submit Your Job Announcement" will be activated and you can submit this form. If you selected payment via credit card, the form will take you to an online payment site.
