I was one of LINGUIST List's editors from August 2013 to July 2016. My areas included Jobs, Journals, Journal Calls, TOCs, Publishers, Software, and Conferences. I also administrated the Listserv.
My research focuses on segmental phonology within an Optimality Theoretic framework. I work a lot on the properties and typology of place agreement, sonority, and gemination. I am also broadly interested in the syntax/semantics of coordination and apposition as well as the cognitive underpinnings of the language system generally.
I spend much of my free time writing and playing music.
