Hi! My name is Anna White and I am an editor here at the LINGUIST List. I am originally from Shreveport,
Louisiana, and I began working at the LINGUIST List in December 2013.
In May 2013, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. While at Baylor, I learned about the Linguistics program at Eastern Michigan University and the wonderful
opportunity to work at the LINGUIST List that this program could provide. I enrolled in the Master's program in the fall of 2013.
I am the Calls and Conferences team leader, and I edit all of the calls for papers and the conference announcements. I have also just started working on the Multitree project.
I am so thankful to have a job that is relevant to my field at such an early stage of my career. Every day I look forward to working with other linguists on projects and services that make wonderful resources accessible to the linguistic community. I find my work very meaningful, and I am so grateful to be here. A sincere thanks to everyone that supports the LINGUIST List.
Outside of Linguistics, my interests include yoga, cooking, art history, and interior decorating.
