I have always been fascinated with Languages, not just the words themselves, but with the structures and sounds. In retrospect I find it hard to believe that I didn't discover Linguistics until nearly the end of high school. I began taking courses at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and my love for the subject grew from there.

I recently completed my undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in Linguistics and Psychology, and a minor in TESOL. While I enjoy all aspects of Linguistics, I am particularly interested in psycholinguistics, language documentation/revitalization and sociolinguistics. I have done a bit of work on language attitudes, the endangered language of Ekegusii (spoken in Kenya), and helped with various psycholinguistic experiments at TedLab.

Here at LINGUIST List I currently serve as our Publications Manager, team leader for our Public Relations efforts, and am a member of the NSF funded LL-Map project. In my spare time you can usually find me curled up with a book, or biking down beautiful Michigan roads.
