I am a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, currently pursuing a Ph.D in linguistics. My main area of interest is Native American language morphology and syntax, and for the past two years I have had the great honor of studying and conducting field research on Hocąk, a Native American language spoken in Wisconsin. In addition to my linguistics pursuits, I am also a musician, having received my B.A. in vocal performance. I teach private piano and voice lessons, and I enjoy performing at local shows and open mics whenever I have the chance. I am very excited to be a part of LINGUIST List.
