I've always been a bookworm, a language person, and a grammar nazi, so an undergraduate
degree in technical writing and now my academic antics in linguistics suit me perfectly.
Despite a great degree of hesitation on my part initally, LINGUIST List now feels like home.
I wear so many hats I can barely keep track, but somehow I find in between the SQL,
Cold Fusion, Flash, and project management tactics to learn more about my
subfields of interest--pragmatics, discourse and sociolinguistics. In my infinitesimal
amount of spare time, I enjoy fielding just about anything life can throw at me. I can be
found watching ESPN, playing tennis, devouring fantasy novels, puttering on craft projects,
and other things I manage to squeeze in.
