Notice: Hello, I'm a reporter at the Wall Street Journal working on a story about the perceived importance of Canadian English and its particular spellings. Story takes a look at how language informs Canadian identify. I'm looking for linguists who have studied the evolution of English on both sides of the border. I can be reached at the above email.
Many thanks,

Doug Belkin
