"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. We offer you a stay in a nice furnished room on the upper floor of a private house. 3-piece bathroom. Kitchen (shared with hosts) with all appliances. Laundry, TV, radio. With/without breakfast. A quiet street. 8-min walk to a subway station, or a 3-min bus ride.

12 minutes on subway to the downtown. A large park with a bike trail near by. Hosts affiliated with academia. Very reasonable price. If you are coming to Canada for a short term this is a good place to stay.
