"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. Notice: We have two rooms in a flat (4th floor of a 6 story building with lift) for rent during Beijing Olympic period (July 20-Oct 20). It is negotiable for longer stay. We are located in the Olympic region; all the Olympic sites are easily accessed either within 3-5 bus stops or 5-10 minutes by taxi. I am the owner of the flat, I am a university professor, a linguist; my wife and I can communicate in English, Japanese, and Korean. During Olympic period, we have two rooms for rent.
Room A: 14m sq, bed:190×120, a table and a chair, a computer with internet for free, cupboard, bookshelf, with a window.
Room B: 11m sq, bed:190×150, a table and a chair, internet socket provided, cupboard, bookshelf, a dressing table with a big mirror, with a window.
Room A and B shares a bath room.
Both rooms can share the 57m sq living room with us.
