A friend of mine is looking for a term that 'encompasses expressions that
refer the reader forward, not back, e.g., 'As we explain in the next section...' ' As she puts it, the opposite of anaphora. However:, I checked with her, and she does NOT include items like 'her' in this sentence: Although her test scores were poor, Mary was accepted by the university. All suggestions are welcome.
