Notice: My "Linguistic Wars" (Oxford, 1994) is going into a second edition. I
don't yet know if Oxford University Press can include photographs and still keep the cover
price manageable, but if you have any relevant pictures, posters, or the
like, from any time between c1955 and c1975 that you would care to
share - especially of lectures, conferences, workshops, and so on - I
would be very appreciative. If I can't include them in the book, I will look
to setting up a web gallery or archive.

If you do have anything of this sort that you wish to pass along, please
scan it at 320dpi and send the file to me with a
note including as much information as you know about the image: when
and where it was taken, who took it, who is in the picture, and any
other details you think might be pertinent. If I use it in any way, I will be
sure to get your written permission before doing so, I will be sure to
credit you, and I will let you know when, how, and where it will be

Thanks very much,
Randy Allen Harris
