Notice: I am studying the phonology of Barbadian-Canadian English and Barbadian English and need the help of native speakers of Barbadian English who have resided in Barbados for the past 10 years. A speech sample, consisting of 57 short sentences, will be recorded during a telephone conversation or directly onto your computer and emailed to the researcher. A simple demographic questionnaire will also be administered. (Note: this research is being conducted with the approval of the McMaster University Research Ethics Board.)
