Notice: Have any linguists here found the modern incarnations of Nisus Writer useful for writing papers, either for its implementation of linguistic and foreign language symbols or for its ability (if any) to deal with numbered examples as compared with Word?

I know I should be using Latex, but any comments for those not making that switch just yet?
