Have any linguists here found the modern incarnations of Nisus Writer useful for writing papers, either for its implementation of linguistic and foreign language symbols or for its ability (if any) to deal with numbered examples as compared with Word?
I've figured out, after painful trial and error, to get Word to basically do numbered examples well, but there's no automatic alignment, so when examples go from 1 to 2 digits, for example, things get messed up. I know I should be using Latex, but any comments for those not making that switch just yet? |
