Notice: The Language Research Centre at the University of Calgary is looking for native speakers of a variety of languages to take part in our Harry Potter project. Our goal is to produce a database containing the first two paragraphs of the first book read by native speakers of each of the nearly 70 languages into which the book was translated. Remuneration will not be given, but we will be grateful to anyone willing to provide assistance. All contributions are anonymous. If you are interested in participating (it would take about 10 minutes of your time), please contact us at the email address above with your name and contact information along with information about your native language.
