Notice:	My father James A. Reeds was a linguistics professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City for many years, and now his house and personal effects are about to go on the market. He has an extensive collection of books about comparative linguistics, the history of English, transformational grammar, and assorted other subjects, and I would rather see them go to scholars in his field than to a typical Friends of the Library or charity book sale.
