Notice:	Dear Colleagues, I would like to publish the findings of my Masters dissertation as a short article (sometime referred to as a ‘research note’) and I am looking for journals that might be interested. After some research I wrote to the editors of Human Communication Research and Communication Research Reports, but HCR no longer publishes research notes and CRR is a quantitative journal (my study was qualitative). The study examined openings of personal Skype conversations in relation to Schegloff’s opening sequence for phone calls and I have found an interesting regularity in my corpus of 10 calls. I would very much appreciate any suggestions regarding journals that may be interested, and am happy to write a summary of the replies.
