Jost Gippert: Our Featured Linguist!

"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Notice: I'm looking for a paper by Tokomo Yamashita Smith, "How 'give' and 'receive' Provide a Structure for more Abstract Notions: The Case of Benefactives, Adversatives, Causatives, and Passives.", presented at BLS in 1998. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find out whether or not that had been published and where. I tried contacting the author, but the address I found is probably outdated. Could anyone help me trace either the paper or Tomoko Yamashita Smith?
Thanks for your help,

Jean-Charles Khalifa
