Institution/Organization: Bridgewater State College

Notice: Dear Colleagues:

This summer, I will be in the city of Oaxaca working on a research project that deals with issues of multilingualism, language preservation and identity construction. I am especially interested in establishing contacts with Oaxacan grassroots organizations that work with indigenous populations and specialize in bi- and multilingual literacy and language preservation. I am hoping to meet local scholars, visit educational institutions and establish contacts with bilingual and multilingual speakers in Oaxaca.
If you have any contacts or recommendations for institutions that I should visit and/or
individuals who might be interested in this project, please let me know.

Thank you,
