Notice:	I am writing an article about the study of Linguistics, and would like to cite some juicy statistics about the number of Ph.D.'s granted each year in Linguistics, and in which specialties, from which institutions, and also would like to know if there are Linguistics courses anyone knows of at the high school level, and the percentage of colleges and universities which offer Linguistics courses on the undergraduate level...or statistics which might be of further interest along these lines. Is anyone in possession of these facts and figures, or could someone direct me to an organization or website, etc. where I could find them? Thanks. Ann Evans
