Notice:
I am a PhD student working on a dissertation in Functional Learning in the Transformative Learning and Change Track, Humanities, California Institute of Integral Studies. Hawaii is the focal point of the research; so naturally John Reinecke's work, as the early championing of creolization studies during the thirties and forties came up. The McCarthy Era put an end to his academic work, which was later unearthed and republished through the good offices of Stan Tsuzaki, as editor. Elizabeth Carr also worked with these gentlemen.

Unfortunately Reinecke and Tsuzaki have passed on years ago; I do not know about Elizabeth Carr.

A play is also being written about Reinecke, and the maximum historical accuracy is very much desired.

If anyone on the Linguist List knew Reinecke or Tsuzaki or knows Elizabeth Carr, I would be delighted to hear from you. Mahalo for this assistance from the Linguist List.
