I have a student who is interested in becoming a forensic linguist and was asking me how to go about it. We were unable to find any specialized (graduate) programs in forensic linguistics other than some distance
learning, correspondence or summer courses. We did find the professional organization International Association for Forensic Phonetics and Acoustics (www.iafpa.net). We would be grateful for the following information:

1. Is anyone aware of any dedicated grad programs in forsensic linguistics?

2. What other kinds of undergraduate and/or graduate degree programs would be good preparation to get a job in this area?
