We are pleased to present a new volume of the University of Connecticut
Working Papers in Linguistics. The volume contains papers from several
areas of linguistics, which reflects the wide interests of students and
professors at the University of Connecticut. By providing the UConn
linguistics community with a venue to present their finished or ongoing
projects to a wider audience we hope to encourage collaboration and
responses to these papers.
