The new edition of "St. Lawrence Island / Siberian Yupik Eskimo Dictionary"
is a revised and greatly expanded version the dictionary of this language
published by ANLC in 1987. To the original compilers (Linda Badten, Marie
Oovi and Vera Kaneshiro) has been added Christopher Koonooka, a 2002
graduate of UAF with a degree in Yupik Eskimo. The work, edited by Steven
Jacobson, Professor of Yupik at ANLC, included maps, lists of loanwords,
tables of endings and an English index.
