Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. Aus der Bandbreite informativer Texte im Netz, die dort Orte politischer Bildung bilden, arbeitet die Autorin die Hypertextsorte Politischer Kinder-Online-Sachtext heraus. Anhand der Texte von vier Kinderwebsites zum institutionellen System Deutschlands werden mithilfe der Analyseverfahren der kommunikationsorientierten Textlinguistik die Merkmale dieser Hypertextsorte beschrieben, wobei auch auf spezifische Eigenschaften der Hypertexte eingegangen wird. Ziel der Arbeit ist es herauszufinden, wie in Onlineangeboten vorgegangen wird, um Kindern politisches Grundlagenwissen zu vermitteln. Die dabei gewonnenen Erkenntnisse können für die Praxis der onlinebasierten Politikvermittlung nutzbar gemacht werden sowie die Programmierung von Internet-Suchmaschinen optimieren.
