"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. CORELL (Computer Resources for Language Learning) is a refereed international online journal of research on computer resources in foreign language learning published by the Department of Modern Languages of the Catholic University of Murcia. The Editorial Board would like to invite the submission of contributions for the upcoming issue to be published in Spring, 2014. We are interested in receiving high quality articles that report on quantitative and/or qualitative research that is relevant to L2 teaching and learning contexts in the area of Information and Communication Technologies. The deadline for papers wishing to be considered for the Spring issue is 31 March, 2014.
