California Linguistic Notes is a semi-annual peer-reviewed journal which publishes original linguistic research of interest to the field of general linguistics, encompassing a broad theoretical and methodological scope. We invite submissions in the form of articles, notes & replies, squibs, and book reviews. We are particularly interested in articles on lesser-researched languages. New issues are published twice a year in May and November.
We aim for author notification of a publication decision within 3 months of submission.

For all submissions, authors should send an electronic file, preferably in Word or .pdf format, as an email attachment or by snail mail on a disk or flash drive. For submissions with specialized fonts or other graphic materials, manuscripts should be submitted as a .pdf file.
