Abstract:

This paper, which is based on the author's fieldwork, deals with the description of the phonemic system of one of the varieties of the Sistani dialect spoken in the Sekuhe(local name:Sakva)village some 30km to the southwest of Zabol. In this research 22 consonants, 11 simple vowels as well as one diphthong have been identified, making the phonemic inventry of this language variety.
