Query Details

Query Subject:   Southern pronunciations of /ay/

Subject Language(s):  English

Query:   Dear Linguists.

I am currently doing research on the /ay/ sound (e.g., ''high'', ''time'', etc.) in Southern varieties of American English. Does anyone have access to a database of Southern speech? I would be very interested in getting access to a few high quality recordings containing the sound /ay/.

Thank you very much in advance.
