The Structural Design of Language

By Thomas S. Stroik, Michael T. Putnam

In this book, Stroik and Putnam take on Turing's challenge. They argue that the narrow syntax – the lexicon, the Numeration, and the computational system – must reside, for reasons of conceptual necessity, within the performance systems.

Query:   Dear all,

I am in the process of gathering data on French liaison. I am looking
for references or lists of examples of entire utterances or long
phrases illustrating liaison. As the emphasis is on prosody and
liaison, I am less interested in the standard examples of
suppletion/h-aspire words. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I
will make a summary available to the asking if I get a significant
number of responses. Thanks in advance.
