Query:   Dear LINGUIST List subscribers,

For my research on conversation opening patterns, I need some native
speakers of English to answer a questionnaire. Indeed, I want to
compare native speakers of English with native speakers of Persian
and EFL students of English in their pattern of opening conversation. I
