The Structural Design of Language

By Thomas S. Stroik, Michael T. Putnam

Query:   I'm currently editing an anthology dealing with adjectival intensification
particularly in Germanic languages. As I'd like to include a reprint of a
paper written by Emmy Sachs in the early 1960s (On Steinalt, Stock-
still, and Similar Formations, in Journal of English and Germanic
Philology, Vol. LXII Number 1, January 1963, pp. 581-596), I'm looking
for her biographical data. I'd appreciate any useful information by LL-
members.

Thank you in advance,
