Title: Computational Linguistics, Translation: PRESEMT
Submitter: Marina Vassiliou
Description: PRESEMT is a hybrid Machine Translation system, easily adaptable to new language pairs, which has been developed within the homonymous project that was funded by the FP7 Framework Programme. The aim of the project has been to develop MT systems for new language pairs, using only relatively inexpensive, readily available language resources as well as bilingual lexica. Currently thirteen language pairs are supported with English, German and Italian as target languages. PRESEMT is freely available for use under the following address: http://www.presemt.eu/

PRESEMT runs both in Windows and Linux and the current version provides the required resources for translating from German and Greek to English. The project's website also provides detailed technical documentation and links to Google Code hosting software implementing different PRESEMT modules.
