Presenting Your Work

Why presentation skills are important

Presentation skills are important to your academic and professional career, and will usually affect your ability to be hired for a job. Certainly, being able to list conference presentations on your CV is something you will want to be able to do. Fear of presenting is normal. Don't compound the fear by worrying about the fear. One thing you can do to manage that feeling is to focus on the aspects you can control.

Preparing for the Talk
