Program Description:	We have three areas of particular focus and strength: Applied Linguistics and TESOL, Sociolinguistics including variation and discourse, and Hispanic Linguistics. Many students in the Hispanic Linguistics program also concentrate in either Spanish Applied Linguistics or Spanish sociolinguistics.
