Program Description:

MA TESOL students benefit from the focus of a department of Applied Linguistics and TESOL, the emphasis of a School of Intercultural Studies, and the resources of the entire university with its mission of biblically centered education scholarship, and service. Teachers are prepared for work with international students or immigrants in an adult ESL context or a variety of students in an EFL context, not only in teaching, but also in program administration, teacher training, course design, materials development, and assessment. Department faculty have extensive international experience. Interaction with faculty and a culminating portfolio prepare students to approach their profession with integrity and quality.
