Program Description:	As part of its flourishing specialization in translation, Swansea University offers an MA in Translation with Language Technology (MATLT). The MATLT is a professionally focused, integrated course designed to turn entrants with proven foreign language competence into successful and marketable future professionals equipped with the skills now in demand in the language services industry world wide, including the key ability to develop their own specialisms. Our philosophy can be summed up in the phrase ‘hands on’: students learn by doing and we aim to teach strategies as much as solutions, based on our own extensive experience of working as and training translators. Successful MATLT graduates are now employed all over the world as freelance and in-house translators, project managers, terminologists, software developers and in many other fields.
Available Financial Aid:	For students from the UK and other EU countries, a number of bursaries are available which funds GBP 1500 towards the fees. For international students, there is another bursary programme. Information about conditions and deadlines is available from our website.
