Program Description:

Linguistics programs at Bar-Ilan University include a small, selective and broad-based undergraduate major and graduate research programs leading to an M.A. and Ph.D. with a specialization in Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics, Psycholinguistics, Neurolinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Discourse Analysis, or Bilingualism/Second Language Acquisition. The Linguistics Program is affiliated with Bar-Ilan University’s Brain Sciences Research Program, a multi-disciplinary center with affiliates coming from biology, computer science, and cognitive psychology. The program houses the Language Policy Research Center, which conducts research in sociolinguistics, literacy, and social issues related to linguistics.
