| Program Description: | This course enables students to analyse the universal and specific language patterns of sound and presents the theoretical machinery necessary for their formalisation. Students will also have the opportunity to follow certain applied phonology modules which will allow them to use the knowledge gained in the theoretical and descriptive modules to analyse developmental and socio-phonological data. |
