The Centre for Applied English Studies (CAES) of the University of Hong Kong is now inviting applications for admission to the Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics (MAAL) programme, both full-time (1 year) and part-time (2 years) starting September 2011.
The MAAL programme is designed for professionals who wish to teach English at the tertiary level and those who are interested in the use of English for academic and professional purposes. It aims to help participants develop a critical understanding of linguistic and applied theories and capabilities to conduct research on its practical applications.
