Program Description:	Three-year undergraduate study (including one semester/year abroad) Languages: language B - English; language C - French, German or Spanish Aiming at developing students’ skills and abilities for their future translatingand/or interpreting carrer, the curriculum also lays the foundation for further studies. It is composed of 1. compulsory subjects Communication Skills B/C ŲCulture and Civilization B/C Theory and Practice of Translation Contemporary Romanian Basic Technical Knowledge Terminology Translation Software Use Specialized Translation B/C Communication Theory and Interpretation Technique B/C Third Foreign Language (Alternative I); Spanish, Italian,Russian, Japanese, German, French) 2. elective subjects European Union and International Institutions Management and Marketing Business, Public and Private Law International Law 3. optional subjects Literary Translation B/C Fourth Foreign Language (Alternative II): Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese,German, French ESP Teaching Methodology PRACTICUM - 1st year of study - within the technical departments of TUCEB - compiling glossaries and mini-dictionaries for various technical fields. PRACTICUM - 2nd year of study - within Public Notaries, Law Firms and various institutions and companies. PRACTICE - 3rd year of study - internship at various institutions/companies.
