| Program Description: | The linguistics program at the University of Alaska is a small interdisciplinary program with a focus on applied linguistics for Alaska Native languages. Students may receive training in second language acquisition and community language documentation. The program offers a B.A. and an M.A. in Linguistics, as well as an interdisciplinary Ph.D. degree. Linguistics students also have access to the internationally-reknown resources of the Alaska Native Language Center. |
