Education is a multifaceted activity and the School reflects that diversity. We are engaged in teacher education in most of the disciplines taught in secondary schools; teach educational theory and practice as part of a BA major with specialisations in educational psychology and liberal arts in education; teach course work and research higher degree students; provide advice to individuals and institutions on educational matters; conduct research in schools and workplace training environments into processes that can improve education; maintain our international profile by communicating with the rest of the world through journals and meetings. These activities are all interrelated and intended to provide students and our society with a productive School of Education.
