Program Description:

This is an Interdisciplinary Program housed in the Dept. of Hispanic Studies. Students of all majors can minor in Linguistics. To receive a minor you must complete 18 credits of the variety of courses listed (these include courses in the areas of Anthropology,English, Communications, Philosophy, Psychology, and numerous languages). The capstone course is ''Introduction to Language and Linguistics''. Many of the courses can be taken in Spanish or French if the student is a language major.
