Program Description:

2 years/4 semesters/30 weeks of study per year/120 credits ECTS. It includes two semesters for dissertation.

Acess: Bearers of a graduation (or of qualification legally equivalent) that allows to work in Preschool or Elementary Education. Bearers of other degrees who work or intend to work in education, with the minimum grade of 14/20. In special cases, that is if the curriculum vitae is rich and demonstrates an adequate scientific/pedagogical formation or outstanding professional experience, candidates can be admitted even though they haven't got the minimum grade of 14/20.

The course is structured in order to:
- complement and consolidate the formation of the candidates in a global perspective.
- deepen and bring up to date the scientific and pedagogical formation in the domain of Textual Analysis and Children's Literature.
- answer productively to the needs of improvement of language skills in all its multiple functions.
- promote the accomplishment of research in these areas.

The main scientific subjects are: children's literature, applied linguistics, child's educational sciences, integrated science, literature theory and visual education.
