At the 1996 MLA meeting in Washington, there was some discussion of the advantages of establishing a web page for each division. Although the MLA intends to do this at some point, it is not an immediate priority.
So, in the meantime, The LINGUIST List would be happy to host your web page on this site: http://linguistlist.org/
If you send me copy via email, we'll be happy to put it into HTML (in the no-frills style shown on this page), give it a URL that you can publish to members, and link it into the Linguistic Approaches to Literature Division page and the LINGUIST List "Organizations" and "Calls" pages. Or, if you have already mounted your own web pages, send me the URL's and I will link them to our sites.
It might be mutually beneficial to the divisions interested in language to provide WWW access to each others' programs, calls for papers, and lists of executive committee members. So if there's anything I or the LINGUIST List staff can do to help, please let us know.
